Thai Airways International is Thailand’s flag carrier airline and the second-largest shareholder of the low-cost carrier Nok Air. The airline was founded in 1961 as a joint venture between SAS and Thai Airways Company. Its corporate headquarters are on Vibhavadi Rangsit Road in Bangkok’s Chatuchak area.
